How We Write: Sources and Standards at Korean Recipe Lab

Korean Recipe Lab is a Korean home-cooking recipe blog for cooks outside Korea. This page explains what our posts are based on and how they are organized.

What posts are based on

  • Posts are based on publicly available information — for example traditional Korean home-cooking methods, ingredient labels and widely used Korean cookbooks and food references.
  • Cooking times and seasoning vary with your stove, pot and ingredients — taste and adjust as you go.
  • Each post shows its publish date, so you can judge how current the details are.

How the site is organized

  • Every post belongs to a category and a topic, and you can read them in order in our guides.
  • The “At a glance” box at the top of each post is a summary of that post’s own content, and “More on …” at the bottom links to related posts on the same topic.
